Mike MacDonald: A Comic Stripped $17.98

This collection of Mike MacDonald's specials includes: On Target, My House My Rules and As Happy as I Can Be on DVD.  MacDonald's unique brand of story-telling has had audiences relating and laughing for decades. One audience member summarized MacDonald’s act in one simple line: “It’s like he’s got a camera in our house, he knows everything!”
On Target: In his first Showtime/CBC special Mike explores such topics as; dumb movie premises, relationships, scoring extra points with the wife, dog and cats, how men could never survive the pain that women go through and more.

My House My Rules: In his second critically acclaimed and Gemini nominated Showtime/CBC special Mike exposes his dysfunctional family by; recounting the family vacations which Dad always wanted to drive every where, at 16 the first party and usually the last you had in your parents house, trying to sneak home at 3:00 in the morning, The one time you put your fists up to fight the old man and more. The show was nominated for a Cable Ace ward in the United States for Best Stand Up Comedy Special.
Happy As I Can Be: In the third Showtime/CBC special Mike takes on such worldly topics as; racism, homophobia, infidelity and manages to remain entertaining and funny without being pompous.  He also takes on lighter subjects such as winning the lottery and using it for revenge, sex and pain, technology such as videophones which is still as funny and relevant now as it was then.
