What these women did to get into prison is nothing compared to what
they’ll do to get out.
Three classic Women In Prison films starring Linda Blair,
Sylvia Kristel and Sybill Danning. Chained Heat starts it off with
Blair unfairly sent to prison where she and Danning cope with prison
culture…which somehow includes hot tub visits with the warden (John Vernon, Dirty Harry, Animal House), drug dealers, lesbian rapists and racial tension.

Blair returns in Red Heat as an American woman
kidnapped and imprisoned in an East German jail. She and Sylvia Kristel battle
and struggle to survive in harsh conditions (and the shower) as her boyfriend
works on the outside to free her.
Vernon and
Danning return in the bonus feature, Jungle Warriors, which finds a group
of models trying to escape from a drug baron’s private army in South America.
The two-disc DVD
set includes trailers, Linda Blair commentary on Chained Heat and Red Heat,
French tracks on Red Heat and Jungle Warriors and a separate French
version of Chained Heat.
